BigBlueButton is an open-source virtual classroom. Versions prior to 3.0.24 have an Open Redirect through bigbluebutton/api/join via get-parameter "logoutURL." Version 3.0.24 has adjusted the handling of requests with incorrect checksum so that the default logoutURL is used. No known workarounds are available.

LinkAce is a self-hosted archive to collect website links. Prior to 2.5.4, a password reset poisoning vulnerability was identified in the application due to improper trust of user-controlled HTTP headers. The application uses the X-Forwarded-Host header when generating password reset URLs. By manipulating this header during a password reset request, an attacker can inject an attacker-controlled domain into the reset link sent via email. As a result, the victim receives a password reset email containing a malicious link pointing to an attacker-controlled domain. When the victim clicks the link, the password reset token is transmitted to the attacker-controlled server. An attacker can capture this token and use it to reset the victim’s password, leading to full account takeover. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.5.4.

next-intl provides internationalization for Next.js. Applications using the `next-intl` middleware prior to version 4.9.1with `localePrefix: 'as-needed'` could construct URLs where path handling and the WHATWG URL parser resolved a relative redirect target to another host (e.g. scheme-relative `//` or control characters stripped by the URL parser), so the middleware could redirect the browser off-site while the user still started from a trusted app URL. The problem has been patchedin `next-intl@4.9.1`.

AdonisJS HTTP Server is a package for handling HTTP requests in the AdonisJS framework. In @adonisjs/http-server versions prior to 7.8.1 and 8.0.0-next.0 through 8.1.3, and @adonisjs/core versions prior to 7.4.0, the response.redirect().back() method reads the Referer header from the incoming HTTP request and redirects to that URL without validating the host.An attacker who can influence the Referer header can cause the application to redirect users to a malicious external site. This affects all AdonisJS applications that use response.redirect().back() or response.redirect('back'). This issue has been fixed in versions 7.8.1 and 8.2.0 and 7.4.0 of @adonisjs/core.

A vulnerability in the web-based management interface of Cisco Unity Connection could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to redirect a user to a malicious web page. This vulnerability is due to improper input validation of HTTP request parameters. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by persuading a user to click a crafted link. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to redirect a user to a malicious web page.

immich is a high performance self-hosted photo and video management solution. Versions prior to 2.7.3 contain an open redirect vulnerability in the shared album functionality, where the album name is inserted unsanitized into a <meta> tag in api.service.ts. A registered attacker can create a shared album with a crafted name containing 0;url=https://attackersite.com" http-equiv="refresh, which when rendered in the <meta property="og:title"> tag causes the victim's browser to redirect to an attacker-controlled site upon opening the share link. This facilitates phishing attacks, as the attacker could host a modified version of immich that collects login credentials from victims who believe they need to authenticate to view the shared album. This issue has been fixed in version 2.7.3.

Due to an Open Redirect vulnerability in SAP NetWeaver Application Server ABAP, an unauthenticated attacker could craft malicious URL that, if accessed by a victim, they could be redirected to the page controlled by the attacker. The User Registration & Membership plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Open Redirect in versions up to and including 5.1.4. This is due to insufficient validation of user-supplied URLs passed via the 'redirect_to_on_logout' GET parameter before redirecting users. The `redirect_to_on_logout` GET parameter is passed directly to WordPress's `wp_redirect()` function instead of the domain-restricted `wp_safe_redirect()`. While `esc_url_raw()` is applied to sanitize malformed URLs, it does not restrict the redirect destination to the local domain, allowing an attacker to craft a specially formed link that redirects users to potentially malicious external URLs after logout, which could be used to facilitate phishing attacks.

ChurchCRM is an open-source church management system. Prior to 7.0.0, it was possible in many places across the ChurchCRM application to create a link that, when visited by an authenticated user, would redirect them to any URL chosen by an attacker if they clicked 'Cancel' button on the page. For this write-up the DonatedItemEditor.php will be used as an example, however wherever all instances of 'linkBack' should be assessed. This vulnerability is fixed in 7.0.0.

LORIS (Longitudinal Online Research and Imaging System) is a self-hosted web application that provides data- and project-management for neuroimaging research. Directus is a real-time API and App dashboard for managing SQL database content. Prior to 11.16.1, Directus is vulnerable to an open redirect via the redirect query parameter on the /admin/tfa-setup page. When an administrator who has not yet configured Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) visits a crafted URL, they are presented with the legitimate Directus 2FA setup page. After completing the setup process, the application redirects the user to the attacker-controlled URL specified in the redirect parameter without any validation. This vulnerability could be used in phishing attacks targeting Directus administrators, as the initial interaction occurs on a trusted domain. This vulnerability is fixed in 11.16.1.

Open edX Platform enables the authoring and delivery of online learning at any scale. he view_survey endpoint accepts a redirect_url GET parameter that is passed directly to HttpResponseRedirect() without any URL validation. When a non-existent survey name is provided, the server issues an immediate HTTP 302 redirect to the attacker-controlled URL. Additionally, the same unvalidated URL is embedded in a hidden form field and returned in a JSON response after form submission, where client-side JavaScript performs location.href = url. This enables phishing and credential theft attacks against authenticated Open edX users. This vulnerability is fixed with commit 76462f1e5fa9b37d2621ad7ad19514b403908970.
