pgjdbc is an open source postgresql JDBC Driver. From version 42.2.0 to before version 42.7.11, pgjdbc is vulnerable to a client-side denial of service during SCRAM-SHA-256 authentication. A malicious server can instruct the driver to perform SCRAM authentication with a very large iteration count. With a large enough value, the client spends an unbounded amount of CPU time inside PBKDF2 before authentication can fail. A single attempt ties up a CPU core. Repeated or concurrent attempts exhaust client CPU and can wedge connection pools. In affected versions, loginTimeout did not fully mitigate this problem. When loginTimeout expired, the caller could stop waiting, but the worker thread performing the connection attempt could continue running and burning CPU inside the SCRAM PBKDF2 computation. This issue has been patched in version 42.7.11.

OpenClaw before 2026.3.28 accepts unbounded concurrent unauthenticated WebSocket upgrades without pre-authentication budget allocation. Unauthenticated network attackers can exhaust socket and worker capacity to disrupt WebSocket availability for legitimate clients.

Open Source Social Network (OSSN) is open-source social networking software developed in PHP. Versions prior to 9.0 are vulnerable to resource exhaustion. An attacker can upload a specially crafted image with extreme pixel dimensions (e.g., $10000 \times 10000$ pixels). While the compressed file size on disk may be small, the server attempts to allocate significant memory and CPU cycles during the decompression and resizing process, leading to a Denial of Service (DoS) condition. It is highly recommended to upgrade to OSSN 9.0. This version introduces stricter validation of image dimensions and improved resource management during the processing phase. Those who cannot upgrade immediately can mitigate the risk by adjusting their `php.ini` settings to strictly limit `memory_limit` and `max_execution_time` and/or implementing a client-side and server-side check on image headers to reject files exceeding reasonable pixel dimensions (e.g., $4000 \times 4000$ pixels) before processing begins.

mcp-framework is a framework for building Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers. In versions 0.2.21 and below, the readRequestBody() function in the HTTP transport concatenates request body chunks into a string with no size limit. Although a maxMessageSize configuration value exists, it is never enforced in readRequestBody(). A remote unauthenticated attacker can crash any mcp-framework HTTP server by sending a single large POST request to /mcp, causing memory exhaustion and denial of service. This issue has been fixed in version 0.2.22.

spdystream is a Go library for multiplexing streams over SPDY connections. In versions 0.5.0 and below, the SPDY/3 frame parser does not validate attacker-controlled counts and lengths before allocating memory. Three allocation paths are affected: the SETTINGS frame entry count, the header count in parseHeaderValueBlock, and individual header field sizes — all read as 32-bit integers and used directly as allocation sizes with no bounds checking. Because SPDY header blocks are zlib-compressed, a small on-the-wire payload can decompress into large attacker-controlled values. A remote peer that can send SPDY frames to a service using spdystream can exhaust process memory and cause an out-of-memory crash with a single crafted control frame. This issue has been fixed in version 0.5.1.

Pillow is a Python imaging library. Versions 10.3.0 through 12.1.1 did not limit the amount of GZIP-compressed data read when decoding a FITS image, making them vulnerable to decompression bomb attacks. A specially crafted FITS file could cause unbounded memory consumption, leading to denial of service (OOM crash or severe performance degradation). If users are unable to immediately upgrade, they should only open specific image formats, excluding FITS, as a workaround.

SvelteKit is a framework for rapidly developing robust, performant web applications using Svelte. Prior to 2.57.1, under certain circumstances, requests could bypass the BODY_SIZE_LIMIT on SvelteKit applications running with adapter-node. This bypass does not affect body size limits at other layers of the application stack, so limits enforced in the WAF, gateway, or at the platform level are unaffected. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.57.1.

Tmds.DBus provides .NET libraries for working with D-Bus from .NET. Tmds.DBus and Tmds.DBus.Protocol are vulnerable to malicious D-Bus peers. A peer on the same bus can spoof signals by impersonating the owner of a well-known name, exhaust system resources or cause file descriptor spillover by sending messages with an excessive number of Unix file descriptors, and crash the application by sending malformed message bodies that cause unhandled exceptions on the SynchronizationContext. This vulnerability is fixed in Tmds.DBus 0.92.0 and Tmds.DBus.Protocol 0.92.0 and 0.21.3.

A memory exhaustion vulnerability exists in the HTTP server due to unbounded use of the `Content-Length` header. The server allocates memory directly based on the attacker supplied header value without enforcing an upper limit. A crafted HTTP request containing an extremely large `Content-Length` value can trigger excessive memory allocation and server termination, even without sending a request body.

A memory exhaustion vulnerability exists in ZIP archive processing. Orthanc automatically extracts ZIP archives uploaded to certain endpoints and trusts metadata fields describing the uncompressed size of archived files. An attacker can craft a small ZIP archive containing a forged size value, causing the server to allocate extremely large buffers during extraction.

A gzip decompression bomb vulnerability exists when Orthanc processes HTTP request with `Content-Encoding: gzip`. The server does not enforce limits on decompressed size and allocates memory based on attacker-controlled compression metadata. A specially crafted gzip payload can trigger excessive memory allocation and exhaust system memory.

Unfurl before 2026.04 contains an unbounded zlib decompression vulnerability in parse_compressed.py that allows remote attackers to cause denial of service. Attackers can submit highly compressed payloads via URL parameters to the /json/visjs endpoint that expand to gigabytes, exhausting server memory and crashing the service.
