Concourse (7.x.y prior to 7.8.3 and 6.x.y prior to 6.7.9) contains an authorization bypass issue. A Concourse user can send a request with body including :team_name=team2 to bypass team scope check to gain access to certain resources belong to any other team.

Spring Security 5.4.x prior to 5.4.4, 5.3.x prior to 5.3.8.RELEASE, 5.2.x prior to 5.2.9.RELEASE, and older unsupported versions can fail to save the SecurityContext if it is changed more than once in a single request.A malicious user cannot cause the bug to happen (it must be programmed in). However, if the application's intent is to only allow the user to run with elevated privileges in a small portion of the application, the bug can be leveraged to extend those privileges to the rest of the application.

RabbitMQ versions 3.8.x prior to 3.8.7 are prone to a Windows-specific binary planting security vulnerability that allows for arbitrary code execution. An attacker with write privileges to the RabbitMQ installation directory and local access on Windows could carry out a local binary hijacking (planting) attack and execute arbitrary code.

Concourse, versions prior to 6.3.1 and 6.4.1, in installations which use the GitLab auth connector, is vulnerable to identity spoofing by way of configuring a GitLab account with the same full name as another user who is granted access to a Concourse team. GitLab groups do not have this vulnerability, so GitLab users may be moved into groups which are then configured in the Concourse team.

When configured to enable default typing, Jackson contained a deserialization vulnerability that could lead to arbitrary code execution. Jackson fixed this vulnerability by blacklisting known "deserialization gadgets". Spring Batch configures Jackson with global default typing enabled which means that through the previous exploit, arbitrary code could be executed if all of the following is true: * Spring Batch's Jackson support is being leveraged to serialize a job's ExecutionContext. * A malicious user gains write access to the data store used by the JobRepository (where the data to be deserialized is stored). In order to protect against this type of attack, Jackson prevents a set of untrusted gadget classes from being deserialized. Spring Batch should be proactive against blocking unknown "deserialization gadgets" when enabling default typing.

Spring Security versions 5.3.x prior to 5.3.2, 5.2.x prior to 5.2.4, 5.1.x prior to 5.1.10, 5.0.x prior to 5.0.16 and 4.2.x prior to 4.2.16 use a fixed null initialization vector with CBC Mode in the implementation of the queryable text encryptor. A malicious user with access to the data that has been encrypted using such an encryptor may be able to derive the unencrypted values using a dictionary attack.

Pivotal Concourse, most versions prior to 6.0.0, allows redirects to untrusted websites in its login flow. A remote unauthenticated attacker could convince a user to click on a link using the OAuth redirect link with an untrusted website and gain access to that user's access token in Concourse. (This issue is similar to, but distinct from, CVE-2018-15798.)

Spring Security versions 5.2.x prior to 5.2.4 and 5.3.x prior to 5.3.2 contain a signature wrapping vulnerability during SAML response validation. When using the spring-security-saml2-service-provider component, a malicious user can carefully modify an otherwise valid SAML response and append an arbitrary assertion that Spring Security will accept as valid.

Cloud Foundry CredHub, versions prior to 2.5.10, connects to a MySQL database without TLS even when configured to use TLS. A malicious user with access to the network between CredHub and its MySQL database may eavesdrop on database connections and thereby gain unauthorized access to CredHub and other components.

The JavaScriptUtils.javaScriptEscape method in web/util/JavaScriptUtils.java in Spring MVC in Spring Framework before 3.2.2 does not properly escape certain characters, which allows remote attackers to conduct cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks via a (1) line separator or (2) paragraph separator Unicode character or (3) left or (4) right angle bracket.

Pivotal Ops Manager, versions 2.4.x prior to 2.4.27, 2.5.x prior to 2.5.24, 2.6.x prior to 2.6.16, and 2.7.x prior to 2.7.5, logs all query parameters to tomcat’s access file. If the query parameters are used to provide authentication, ie. credentials, then they will be logged as well.

Pivotal RabbitMQ, versions 3.7.x prior to 3.7.21 and 3.8.x prior to 3.8.1, and RabbitMQ for Pivotal Platform, 1.16.x versions prior to 1.16.7 and 1.17.x versions prior to 1.17.4, contain a web management plugin that is vulnerable to a denial of service attack. The "X-Reason" HTTP Header can be leveraged to insert a malicious Erlang format string that will expand and consume the heap, resulting in the server crashing.

Cloud Foundry SMB Volume, versions prior to v2.0.3, accidentally outputs sensitive information to the logs. A remote user with access to the SMB Volume logs can discover the username and password for volumes that have been recently created, allowing the user to take control of the SMB Volume.

Cloud Foundry UAA, versions prior to v74.3.0, contains an endpoint that is vulnerable to SCIM injection attack. A remote authenticated malicious user with scim.invite scope can craft a request with malicious content which can leak information about users of the UAA.

Pivotal RabbitMQ, versions prior to v3.7.18, and RabbitMQ for PCF, versions 1.15.x prior to 1.15.13, versions 1.16.x prior to 1.16.6, and versions 1.17.x prior to 1.17.3, contain two components, the virtual host limits page, and the federation management UI, which do not properly sanitize user input. A remote authenticated malicious user with administrative access could craft a cross site scripting attack that would gain access to virtual hosts and policy management information.

Pivotal Application Manager, versions 666.0.x prior to 666.0.36, versions 667.0.x prior to 667.0.22, versions 668.0.x prior to 668.0.21, versions 669.0.x prior to 669.0.13, and versions 670.0.x prior to 670.0.7, contain a vulnerability where a remote authenticated user can create an app with a name such that a csv program can interpret into a formula and gets executed. The malicious user can possibly gain access to a usage report that requires a higher privilege.

Pivotal Apps Manager, included in Pivotal Application Service versions 2.3.x prior to 2.3.18, 2.4.x prior to 2.4.14, 2.5.x prior to 2.5.10, and 2.6.x prior to 2.6.5, contains an invitations microservice which allows users to invite others to their organizations. A remote authenticated user can gain additional privileges by inviting themselves to spaces that they should not have access to.

Pivotal Apps Manager, included in Pivotal Application Service versions 2.3.x prior to 2.3.16, 2.4.x prior to 2.4.12, 2.5.x prior to 2.5.8, and 2.6.x prior to 2.6.3, makes a request to the /cloudapplication endpoint via Spring actuator, and subsequent requests via unsecured http. An adjacent unauthenticated user could eavesdrop on the network traffic and gain access to the unencrypted token allowing the attacker to read the type of access a user has over an app. They may also modify the logging level, potentially leading to lost information that would otherwise have been logged.

Cloud Foundry UAA versions prior to v73.4.0 contain a vulnerability where a malicious client possessing the 'clients.write' authority or scope can bypass the restrictions imposed on clients created via 'clients.write' and create clients with arbitrary scopes that the creator does not possess.

Pivotal Container Services (PKS) versions 1.3.x prior to 1.3.7, and versions 1.4.x prior to 1.4.1, contains a vulnerable component which logs the username and password to the billing database. A remote authenticated user with access to those logs may be able to retrieve non-sensitive information.

Cloud Foundry UAA, versions prior to v73.4.0, does not set an X-FRAME-OPTIONS header on various endpoints. A remote user can perform clickjacking attacks on UAA's frontend sites.

Cloud Foundry UAA version prior to 73.3.0, contain endpoints that contains improper escaping. An authenticated malicious user with basic read privileges for one identity zone can extend those reading privileges to all other identity zones and obtain private information on users, clients, and groups in all other identity zones.

Cloud Foundry UAA, versions prior to 73.0.0, falls back to appending “unknown.org” to a user's email address when one is not provided and the user name does not contain an @ character. This domain is held by a private company, which leads to attack vectors including password recovery emails sent to a potentially fraudulent address. This would allow the attacker to gain complete control of the user's account.

Spring Security OAuth versions 2.3 prior to 2.3.6, 2.2 prior to 2.2.5, 2.1 prior to 2.1.5, and 2.0 prior to 2.0.18, as well as older unsupported versions could be susceptible to an open redirector attack that can leak an authorization code. A malicious user or attacker can craft a request to the authorization endpoint using the authorization code grant type, and specify a manipulated redirection URI via the redirect_uri parameter. This can cause the authorization server to redirect the resource owner user-agent to a URI under the control of the attacker with the leaked authorization code.

The Pivotal Ops Manager, 2.2.x versions prior to 2.2.23, 2.3.x versions prior to 2.3.16, 2.4.x versions prior to 2.4.11, and 2.5.x versions prior to 2.5.3, contain configuration that circumvents refresh token expiration. A remote authenticated user can gain access to a browser session that was supposed to have expired, and access Ops Manager resources.

This affects Spring Data JPA in versions up to and including 2.1.6, 2.0.14 and 1.11.20. ExampleMatcher using ExampleMatcher.StringMatcher.STARTING, ExampleMatcher.StringMatcher.ENDING or ExampleMatcher.StringMatcher.CONTAINING could return more results than anticipated when a maliciously crafted example value is supplied.

This affects Spring Data JPA in versions up to and including 2.1.5, 2.0.13 and 1.11.19. Derived queries using any of the predicates ‘startingWith’, ‘endingWith’ or ‘containing’ could return more results than anticipated when a maliciously crafted query parameter value is supplied. Also, LIKE expressions in manually defined queries could return unexpected results if the parameter values bound did not have escaped reserved characters properly.

Pivotal Apps Manager Release, versions 665.0.x prior to 665.0.28, versions 666.0.x prior to 666.0.21, versions 667.0.x prior to 667.0.7, contain an invitation service that accepts HTTP. A remote unauthenticated user could listen to network traffic and gain access to the authorization credentials used to make the invitation requests.

Pivotal Concourse version 5.0.0, contains an API that is vulnerable to SQL injection. An Concourse resource can craft a version identifier that can carry a SQL injection payload to the Concourse server, allowing the attacker to read privileged data.

Pivotal Application Service (PAS), versions 2.2.x prior to 2.2.12, 2.3.x prior to 2.3.7 and 2.4.x prior to 2.4.3, contain apps manager that uses a cloud controller proxy that fails to verify SSL certs. A remote unauthenticated attacker that could hijack the Cloud Controller's DNS record could intercept access tokens sent to the Cloud Controller, giving the attacker access to the user's resources in the Cloud Controller

Pivotal Operations Manager, 2.1.x versions prior to 2.1.20, 2.2.x versions prior to 2.2.16, 2.3.x versions prior to 2.3.10, 2.4.x versions prior to 2.4.3, contains a reflected cross site scripting vulnerability. A remote user that is able to convince an Operations Manager user to interact with malicious content could execute arbitrary JavaScript in the user's browser.

Spring Batch versions 3.0.9, 4.0.1, 4.1.0, and older unsupported versions, were susceptible to XML External Entity Injection (XXE) when receiving XML data from untrusted sources.

Spring Web Services, versions 2.4.3, 3.0.4, and older unsupported versions of all three projects, were susceptible to XML External Entity Injection (XXE) when receiving XML data from untrusted sources.

Pivotal Concourse, all versions prior to 4.2.2, puts the user access token in a url during the login flow. A remote attacker who gains access to a user's browser history could obtain the access token and use it to authenticate as the user.

Pivotal Concourse Release, versions 4.x prior to 4.2.2, login flow allows redirects to untrusted websites. A remote unauthenticated attacker could convince a user to click on a link using the oAuth redirect link with an untrusted website and gain access to that user's access token in Concourse.

Cloud Foundry UAA, versions 60 prior to 66.0, contain an authorization logic error. In environments with multiple identity providers that contain accounts across identity providers with the same username, a remote authenticated user with access to one of these accounts may be able to obtain a token for an account of the same username in the other identity provider.

Pivotal RabbitMQ for PCF, all versions, uses a deterministically generated cookie that is shared between all machines when configured in a multi-tenant cluster. A remote attacker who can gain information about the network topology can guess this cookie and, if they have access to the right ports on any server in the MQ cluster can use this cookie to gain full control over the entire cluster.

Cloud Foundry NFS volume release, 1.2.x prior to 1.2.5, 1.5.x prior to 1.5.4, 1.7.x prior to 1.7.3, logs the cf admin username and password when running the nfsbrokerpush BOSH deploy errand. A remote authenticated user with access to BOSH can obtain the admin credentials for the Cloud Foundry Platform through the logs of the NFS volume deploy errand.

Cloud Foundry UAA release, versions prior to v64.0, and UAA, versions prior to 4.23.0, contains a validation error which allows for privilege escalation. A remote authenticated user may modify the url and content of a consent page to gain a token with arbitrary scopes that escalates their privileges.

Pivotal Cloud Foundry On Demand Services SDK, versions prior to 0.24 contain an insecure method of verifying credentials. A remote unauthenticated malicious user may make many requests to the service broker with different credentials, allowing them to infer valid credentials and gain access to perform broker operations.

Pivotal CredHub Service Broker, versions prior to 1.1.0, uses a guessable form of random number generation in creating service broker's UAA client. A remote malicious user may guess the client secret and obtain or modify credentials for users of the CredHub Service.

Cloud Foundry Bits Service Release, versions prior to 2.14.0, uses an insecure hashing algorithm to sign URLs. A remote malicious user may obtain a signed URL and extract the signing key, allowing them complete read and write access to the the Bits Service storage.

Pivotal Operations Manager, versions 2.0.x prior to 2.0.24, versions 2.1.x prior to 2.1.15, versions 2.2.x prior to 2.2.7, and versions 2.3.x prior to 2.3.1, grants all users a scope which allows for privilege escalation. A remote malicious user who has been authenticated may create a new client with administrator privileges for Opsman.

Spring Security OAuth, versions 2.3 prior to 2.3.4, and 2.2 prior to 2.2.3, and 2.1 prior to 2.1.3, and 2.0 prior to 2.0.16, and older unsupported versions could be susceptible to a privilege escalation under certain conditions. A malicious user or attacker can craft a request to the approval endpoint that can modify the previously saved authorization request and lead to a privilege escalation on the subsequent approval. This scenario can happen if the application is configured to use a custom approval endpoint that declares AuthorizationRequest as a controller method argument. This vulnerability exposes applications that meet all of the following requirements: Act in the role of an Authorization Server (e.g. @EnableAuthorizationServer) and use a custom Approval Endpoint that declares AuthorizationRequest as a controller method argument. This vulnerability does not expose applications that: Act in the role of an Authorization Server and use the default Approval Endpoint, act in the role of a Resource Server only (e.g. @EnableResourceServer), act in the role of a Client only (e.g. @EnableOAuthClient).

Pivotal Container Service, versions prior to 1.2.0, contains an information disclosure vulnerability which exposes IaaS credentials to application logs. A malicious user with access to application logs may be able to obtain IaaS credentials and perform actions using these credentials.

Cloud Foundry Log Cache, versions prior to 1.1.1, logs its UAA client secret on startup as part of its envstruct report. A remote attacker who has gained access to the Log Cache VM can read this secret, gaining all privileges held by the Log Cache UAA client. In the worst case, if this client is an admin, the attacker would gain complete control over the Foundation.

Cloud Foundry UAA, all versions prior to 4.20.0 and Cloud Foundry UAA Release, all versions prior to 61.0, allows brute forcing of MFA codes. A remote unauthenticated malicious user in possession of a valid username and password can brute force MFA to login as the targeted user.

Pivotal Operations Manager, versions 2.2.x prior to 2.2.1, 2.1.x prior to 2.1.11, 2.0.x prior to 2.0.16, and 1.11.x prior to 2, fails to write the Operations Manager UAA config onto the temp RAM disk, thus exposing the configs directly onto disk. A remote user that has gained access to the Operations Manager VM, can now file search and find the UAA credentials for Operations Manager on the system disk..

Pivotal Cloud Cache, versions prior to 1.3.1, prints a superuser password in plain text during BOSH deployment logs. A malicious user with access to the logs could escalate their privileges using this password.
